Last updated: May 4, 2026

This Cookie Policy describes the cookies and similar technologies used on the geocite22.com website (the "Site") by:

FA CUBE S.R.L. Registered office: Via Massa Avenza 16, 54100 Massa (MS), Italy Italian VAT no.: IT01255480459 Email: privacy@geocite22.com

For full details of processing operations, please refer to our Privacy Notice at https://geocite22.com/privacy.

This policy is drafted in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy) and the Italian DPA's Cookie Guidelines of 10 June 2021. It is translated from the Italian original; in case of conflict, the Italian version prevails for legal interpretation.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that visited websites send to the user's browser, where they are stored to be transmitted back on subsequent visits. Similar technologies include localStorage, sessionStorage, tracking pixels, fingerprinting and other passive identifiers, which under privacy law are treated equivalently to cookies when they involve accessing or storing information on the user's device.

2. Cookies used on the Site

We use the following categories of cookies:

2.1 Strictly necessary cookies (always active)

Cookies essential to the functioning of the Site, authentication, security, cart and checkout. No consent required under Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003.

2.2 Analytics and statistics cookies (consent-based)

Used to gather aggregate usage information (most visited pages, time on page, traffic sources).

Cookie Provider Purpose Duration

plausible_* (privacy-friendly alternative, where active) Plausible Insights OÜ (Estonia) Aggregate, identifier-free analytics Session

Third-party analytics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics) are activated only with explicit consent collected via the cookie banner. Any first-party analytics cookies treated as similar to technical cookies (e.g. Plausible or GA4 with IP masking, anonymization, no data sharing with other services and fingerprinting blocked) are handled as technical within the limits of the Italian DPA's Guidelines.

2.3 Marketing / profiling cookies (consent-based)

Cookies set by third parties for ad personalization and remarketing.

Cookie Provider Purpose Duration
_fbp Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Meta Pixel) — where active Conversion tracking and remarketing 90 days
IDE, test_cookie Google Ireland Ltd. (Google Ads) — where active Remarketing and campaign measurement 13 months
li_at, bcookie LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn Insight Tag) — where active B2B remarketing 6 months

These cookies are placed only after explicit consent.

2.4 Similar technologies

  • localStorage: used to store non-sensitive user preferences and Site session data (e.g. language, light/dark mode, onboarding status).
  • Email tracking pixels: in marketing emails (where consented), pixels allow us to detect opens and clicks.

3. Managing preferences

On first visit, the Site shows a cookie banner with three equal options: "Accept all", "Reject all", "Customize". The user may:

  • grant or refuse consent for each non-strictly-necessary category;
  • withdraw or change preferences at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" in the Site's footer.

Refusing analytics and marketing cookies does not affect access to the Site's content and functions.

3.1 Browser-level disabling

Users may also disable cookies directly from their browser settings. Official guides:

Disabling all cookies may impair some Site features (login, cart, checkout).

3.2 Global Privacy Control (GPC)

The Site honors the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal: visitors who transmit it are treated as having refused non-necessary cookies, with no further action required.

4. Transfers outside the EEA

Some cookie providers (Google, Meta, Cloudflare, LinkedIn) may transfer data outside the European Economic Area, primarily to the United States. Such transfers are based on:

  • adequacy decisions (e.g. EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where applicable);
  • Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) supplemented by additional technical measures (e.g. IP anonymization, IP masking, region restrictions).

For more information, please see section 7 of the Privacy Notice.

5. Data subject rights

Please refer to section 8 of the Privacy Notice for full details of the rights granted (access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, complaint to the Authority).

To exercise your rights: privacy@geocite22.com.

6. Updates

The list of cookies may change over time as Site features are activated or deactivated. We will periodically review this Cookie Policy and publish updated versions on the Site. The latest update date is shown at the top.
