What is Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)?
A set of techniques to make content mentionable, indexable and reproducible by Large Language Models. It complements traditional SEO: while SEO targets SERP rankings, GEO targets direct extraction and mentions in generative answers.
Which AI engines does the plugin work with?
Anthropic (Claude Sonnet/Opus), OpenAI (GPT-4o / GPT-4o-mini), Google Gemini 2.5 Flash, Mistral Large, Kimi (Moonshot). The tool-use schema is written in Anthropic-native format and translated for each provider.
What do I need to get started?
WordPress 6.4+, PHP 8.1+. Nothing else. The Base plan is free forever, no credit card required.
What’s the difference between Advanced and Premium?
Advanced = BYOK (your own AI API keys, you pay providers directly). Premium = managed (AI calls go through geocite22.com proxy with included credits). See the "Advanced vs Premium" page for details.
Is the Base plan really free?
Yes, forever. No trial, no expiry. The GEO features (structured fields, JSON-LD, llms.txt) are all included. It doesn’t include integrated AI.
What happens if I run out of Premium credits?
AI calls are rejected with the INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS error. You can buy one-time top-ups or wait for the next month's allocation. The accruable allowance is capped at 3× the monthly quota.
Are my contents logged?
On Advanced they go directly to the AI provider you’ve chosen (they don’t pass through geocite22.com). On Premium they go through the proxy but are not logged in plain text: application logs only contain provider, model, token count, status.
Can I change tier at any time?
Yes. Immediate upgrade with Stripe proration; downgrade from the next cycle. Unused credits remain valid up to the 3× cap.
How do vouchers work?
Vouchers are GIFT-XXXX-XXXX codes generated by the admin (campaigns, support refunds, influencers). They credit AI credits to active Premium licenses. A voucher can be single-use or multi-use, with optional time validity.
Is the plugin compatible with WooCommerce / multisite / multilingual setups?
Yes for multisite (the site count applies to total installations). WooCommerce and multilingual (WPML, Polylang) are supported: GEO fields are attached to the post, not to the post type, so they work on any custom post type.
Can I export my data? Can I delete my account?
Yes. From the customer area you can export licenses, credit transactions, invoices. Account deletion: soft-delete with a 30-day retention for any Stripe disputes, then hard-delete (GDPR compliant).
